RIP Jules Bianchi 1989-2015

On early Saturday morning in the United States, the motorsports world lost one of it's best rising stars when Jules Bianchi passed away following injuries from the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix in October. Bianchi went off track in serious rain conditions and collided with a crane retrieving the Sauber of Adrian Sutil who had spun in the same area a lap earlier. The Frenchman, who scored his only, and currently Manor's only points in Formula One in Monaco last year, had been in an induced coma for 9 months, with hope of recovery fading as the days and weeks dragged on. He is the most recent Formula One driver to die in a crash since 1994 when Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna da Silva died at Imola. Virtual Reality Racing would like to join the world in saying goodbye to a promising talent, a soft soul, and a kind hearted man in Jules Bianchi. Godspeed, Jules. Gone but not forgotten.
