VRR B-Spec IndyCar Series update

There are a few updates I'd like to inform everyone about regarding the planned VRR B-Spec IndyCar Series.

On the top of the list, the series is planned to begin in January 2016 at a circuit in South America. The series will have a title sponsor from celluar communications company Straight Talk.

Secondly, the platform the series is to be based on has changed once again. Due to several different problems regarding rFactor, including lack of an adequate paint template, no control over which AI sits in which car, and problems with scoring, our focus has shifted yet again to NASCAR Racing 2003. The fundamental step is getting it installed properly on my computer, but after that it will fall into place rather easily as the mods for it and the paint templates are easy to find.

Thirdly, applications are now being accepted for teams and drivers for the season. Entries can either be full time or exclusive to the Indianapolis 500. There is a limit of 26 cars for each normal road course and oval race and a limit of 33 for the Indy 500. All drivers need to be connected to a team of some sort, either as a part of a multi car team or as a single car operation. Surplus of interested drivers will be put on a reserve list in the case that an existing driver suddenly can not complete obligations to the series (ie: withdrawing, getting banned from GTPlanet, roleplayign injuries, etc.). Entries must be balanced between three engine suppliers, Chevrolet, Honda, and Audi.

Finally, we are looking for commentators for the season. If you have experience and are interested, let me know on GTPlanet.
