S1 Finale Shaping Up
Two days--That's the amount of time left until Free Practice 1 on Friday and with all three championships on the line, everyone is getting a bit hyped. Outright and GT500 leader BRRT_Angel has never won a Gran Turismo based championship, but has never lost a points event at the Nurburgring 24H layout. GT300 runner up trobes29 has yet to win a championship outside of INBD, but sits in a prime place to do so, and GTP_Bambi, who sits tied second in Outright, has never won a championship, but sits in line to get the double. NearFear, who has won a championship in the SeeTheAir GT500 Series, sits tied with Bambi in Outright and second in GT500 points, both 6 points behind BRRT_Angel. There are spoilers in it as well. nascarfan1400, coming off a triumphant win in Apricot Hill looks to carry momentum through to the finish of the season in GT500. Dcrimnal, who leads the series in pole positions, looks to capture his second VRR victory, and AJHG1000, who has been robbed of wins at Suzuka and Spa due to technical problems, looks to end the season with some form of closure in GT500. GT300 isn't any different. Wium43, swapping from a Mercedes to a Subaru, wants to rectify being shut out in Apricot Hill. WaReAgLe1997 and gr8racrs are debuting ahead of their rookie season in two months, and the long hiated BRZs of JACKOLANTERN31 and PEAGLEZ7 may make the GT300 fold something to play for before the lights go out on Saturday. Add the night to morning ambiance, the new to use commentary crew, this website, and the VRR youtube channel, and you have yourself the best thing since Mayweather/Pacquiao...err sorry, wrong analogy.
